Training Program

Mountain Goat Training by Time 

 

● This schedule presumes starting from a base of about a half-hour of running a day.

● Alternate long and short days to allow cycles of work and recovery. 

● Week 13 our training runs begin.

Race Week:  Taper all week with runs averaging about half of normal (30 minutes a day).

● Do all training at about the pace you expect to maintain for the race.
