Will there be a bag check?

There will NOT be a bag check. Please plan accordingly as unattended bags present a security concern.

Where do I park?

Parking is free at City meters on Sundays.

Will results be posted?

Our timing partner, www.leonetiming.com will have times posted immediately and results will also be posted at the "Race Results" page on this website a few days after the race.

Will there be a clock at the finish line?

There will be a clock at the finish line and a clock at the 5-mile relay exchange point. You can leave your smart watch at home!

Will there be mile marker signs on the course?

Every mile will be posted on a sign so look out for the fun!

Are there age group awards?

We have some of the most unique age group awards! Stop at the awards tent to pick up your award after checking www.leonetiming.com to determine if you qualify! 

Awards will be the top 3 males and females in the following age groups:

18 and under, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 64-69, 70-75, 80 and up.  ALL awards MUST be picked up on Race Day ONLY.

We also have TIME BONUS PATCHES for women that run under 90 minutes, 80 minutes, and 70 minutes as well as for men that run under 80 minutes, 70  minutes and 60 minutes. The patches will also be at the awards tent.


Can I register on the day of the race?

You certainly can register on the day of the race, but it will cost you a premium!  We offer discounted registration pricing for months leading up to the race, but on race weekend (at packet pickup and on race day) registration pricing goes up.  Please bring your smart phone, because you can ONLY register online at https://runsignup.com/Race/NY/Syracuse/MountainGoatRun

Are portable toilets available?

Yes! There will be plenty of portable toilets in Clinton Square on Clinton St and on Erie Blvd. There will also be portable toilets on Stolp Ave, Hunt Ave at Creek Walk (at the Relay Exchange), and in Thornden Park.

Will there be water on the course?

We have six water/Gatorade stations on the course, all highlighted on our map.  There will be no energy gels.
